The 29th Annual Telly Awards honors the very best commercials, videos, films and Internet work.

Turec Advertising is proud to receive the coveted Telly Award for their work on the Sunset Ford television commercial “Customer Service.” The commercial was written by Renee Maier, produced by Emmanuel Martirez and edited by Chris Roider of Tybee Studios.

The :30 spot features 5th generation Sunset Ford spokesperson Pete Heutel discussing the value of good customer service throughout the dealership’s 90-year history. Various images of family members and historic dealership photos are manipulated in layers on the screen behind him to create a 3-dimensional effect that draws the viewer into the scene. A dramatic musical score builds on the emotional appeal of the spot.

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest film and video productions, and groundbreaking web commercials, videos and films throughout the world.

With 13,500 entries from all 50 states and around the world, this year’s competition was one of the most competitive and successful in the long history of the Telly Awards.

A prestigious judging panel of over 40 accomplished industry professionals, each a past Winner of a Silver Telly, the top honor, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents.
